Ayesha Takia Azmi has worked as an actor in Hindi films since 1986. Ayesha Aziz won Filmfare Best Debut Award 2004 for her starring part as a lead actress in Taarzan The Wonder Car. It was also her first acting role. She has been in numerous famous films like Paathshaala (2010 Wanted) Salaam-E-Ishq (2008) and Socha Na Tha (2010). Her first commercial was for Complan the well-known drink to improve good health. Shahid Kapoor was her co-star in their iconic I'm Complan Guy"I'm Complan gal commercial. The remix song Nahin Nahin Abhi Nahin as well included her. Her fame grew due to the success of India's remixes. Soon after, she began receiving Bollywood film offers. Takia's debut film, initially planned to appear in Socha Na Tha was delayed due to issues with production. Ayesha demonstrated her moral strength in voicing her disapproval of the views that she shares with their Samajwadi Party Samajwadi Party's MLA Abu Azmi regarding punishing victims of sexual assault. Ayesha declared that she is vegan. This was when she appeared in the PETA India commercial. She was ranked as the most beautiful female in the country during 2006.
